I put this site online in the afternoon of August 16. A few hours later it made
to the front page of Hacker News. Then someone from The Next Web Blog, a
popular technology blog, wrote a story about us, and this generated some buzz on
twitter. As a result, 4810 visitors have visited the site in the first day we
went online which is quite impressive, and space for 12 characters were sold to
4 customers.

I can't believe I got my first sale only 6 hours after this site went online,
though it's only one character. Guess which char it is, it's an "@"!

As I am writing this, the ASCII Million Dollar Page will be on-line in 5
minutes, let's see how long it takes to get first character sold.
